This watercolor painting depicts a luxurious bouquet created from voile, satin, eyelet, lace, burlap, shiny glass and velvet. The bouquet was created from many types of fabrics and is painted from photos provided by the bride.

Iris brevicaulis
Iris brevicaulis was (happily!) drawn from a living specimen in the Iris garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden. The color pencil work was made for the Flora of North America volume 26 frontispiece.
Color Pencil Bridal Bouquet
This color pencil bouquet was drawn from the fresh flowers and photos taken by the artist. The bouquet is an elegant floral combination including three colors of peonies, white roses, and peach colored ranunculus.
